I’m Karissa — a faith-filled mama to my two beautiful children, Skyler and Ryelee, and the heart behind The Intentional Christian Mama.
This space was born from my own journey as a Christian mama searching for beautiful practical resources that honored my faith and my deep desire to raise my children with intention, purpose, and deep roots in God.
What Intentional Christian Motherhood Means to Me
To me, intentional Christian motherhood is about choosing to bring God into the ordinary moments of family life. It’s in the conversations we have throughout the day and the way we react to lows and highs. It’s weaved into our routines when we keep an open line of communication with God. It means choosing faith over fear, putting God first and trusting the rest will follow according to His will.
It’s not about being a perfect mom or having every day go according to plan. Motherhood can be beautiful, exhausting, joyful, and messy, sometimes all before lunchtime! I believe we can be intentional in the middle of all of it by slowing down when we can, being present with our children, and continually turning our hearts back toward God.
My hope is to encourage other Christian moms to embrace motherhood with purpose, nurture their children’s faith, and find meaningful ways to make their homes places where God’s love is seen and felt.
